The Big Giggle

I had a ‘guard the apartment’ job last night.

It was the Geriatric Five’s monthly RSL gig, so the Silverback was out all evening. The Sparrow had dropped him off for the setting up about 4 o’clock, then went back to listen and chat to the band wives about 6.30.

The gig apparently went well, there was about 100 locals there. It was a ‘Greek’ night, so Souvlaki for the Silverback. At interval the Silverback and The Singer got people up doing Zorba’s dance. One table sang along to Blueberry Hill. The band even did a three number encore!

There was an intense moment at home when a cat walked across the balcony, otherwise a quiet night in the office. I managed to finally get the ear of my Bunnings Bear, so quite productive really.
