Cheeky Chops

Some of our colleagues' kids - we met up for an ice-cream in Figueira da Foz at the historical San Remo. Mike and I both had waffles with ours, mine had hot cherries, big enough to be our meal - the others have gone off to shop and make dinner. Mike and I walked back along the beach (see extra), hoping for an earlyish night, it'll be a very full day tomorrow.

Gratefuls:
- leaving Mourão, it's been 41C (106F) there today; much cooler here
- Mike's safe driving, which I will never take for granted
- being by the sea, so different here to the south coast, huge breakers, wide sands, misty air
