Sheltering From The Rain

Love the combination of ferns and hostas. Colours begin to pop in the rain, despite the low light. I wish I had been more thoughtful about where I placed the brightest area and which surfaces were pointing skywards.

It wasn't raining when I came out and I didn't have a rain jacket or plastic bag for the camera, which does have weather sealing, but I would prefer not to test it too much. I suppose a polariser would have taken off some of the sheen, but then the leaves would not appear wet.
