Day 110 of 365 - Ye Olde City Limits!

Welcome to day 110 of 365 (Finished image after Editing)

The original photo was taken late this afternoon. It is of the Cook Street Gate. This gate was part of the Medieval Town wall of Coventry and was built in 1385. Most of the town wall and gates were demolished in 1682 by the orders of King Charles II. This Gate along with the nearby Swanswell (or Priory) Gate are the only two that have survived out of the original twelve gates to the city.

As always the shot was taken with my iPhone 5. The photo was taken using the camera App Huemore for iPhone. The original image can be found here: Unedited original Image.

First of all I used an app called HDR Art to edit the photo. The edits were made by applying the Ancient filter to the picture to help age the image. Finally I used the App Distressed FX to add extra texture to the image using the HDR overlay and the Savannah Texture.
