Feeding Frenzy

It rained most of the morning, so before I headed out for a walk, I fed the birds their daily rations.  Half a Banana, half an apple, animal fat, sweet water and bird seed.  In this photo they are gorging themselves on the apple, banana and fat.  You can see how low the snow is on the mountains in the background.  The birds are wax eyes, sparrows, blackbird, bell birds and Tuis.  

The extra is of the birds, with a misty background.  As I still have 3K steps to do I will head out now before the rain comes back.  Very cold +4C.
