Cultivated Wildness

It's Friday, so time for the Flower Friday challenge and with sunny weather forecast (and no crowd-pulling events scheduled) it was a no-brainer decision to head over to RHS Wisley for the day.  I had a wonderfully relaxing day roaming the gardens, which are starting to come into their flowering season peak. 

One of my favourite areas is the Wildlife Garden by the new labs at RHS Hilltop, which I was privileged to visit as an invited guest (among many!) a week before it opened nearly a year ago.  All the gardens have matured beautifully and it was nice to see a few wild poppies around ... mission accomplished challenge-wise!
