The Shortie & the Skylark...

I didn't really fancy getting up at around 4:30am today...but the sun was shining & so I did. It was fiercely windy & this short eared owl was having a bit of trouble flying into the headwind. It caught prey and off it went, back to feed the young shorties...There's a skylark on the rock too :)
