Starting or not

I would like to boast I can regularly produce perfect sourdough, but despite making bread for years, I am still learning.
The jar with the band is the starter I fed this morning, showing the activity four hours later. Tempting to start a loaf but as the glass shows, the starter did not float.
It teaches you patience!
