Inshore Rescue

We have driven over to Cleethorpes today to join Linda's cousin in celebrating her golden wedding anniversary.  As we walked along the prom the alarm went off and the inshore rescue boat was deployed and went zooming off up the Humber Estuary.  This is the launch vehicle which acts as a mobile harbour and collects the launch on its return so that any casualties can be transferred to an ambulance on dry land.

It was interesting to see that the volunteer crew members turned up in two large BMWs and an Aston Martin DB9!
