Penicuik

I went into Edinburgh every day last week, and I'll do so for the next four days too, but today I've stayed in Penicuik. The long walk with Django this morning was a little dull, until we got to a bank of grass near the park that has been left unmown. The orchids have started to come out, and I hope they will do as well as they did last year. Oh, and a dog photobombed the picture, because he thinks that he's prettier. I prefer the orchid...

And, as for Top Gun 2, I've just watched the original, and it's infinitely better. Simpler and more real, pre-CGI, the flying sequences are done with multi-million dollar jet fighters, Tom Cruise is 24 (if that rocks your boat!) and there's Kelly Mcgillis... Never mind if I'm showing my age!
