A Sunday afternoon drive

Somehow, between my chaotic schedule, or lack of a schedule, and the unrelenting rain we've enjoyed, I have neglected to submit a blip post for three entire days. A mid-afternoon drive today provided an opportunity to rectify this situation.

We wound up heading east on Washington's Highway 2. The weather was struggling to make up its mind whether to rain or shine, so it did both. Using the "dramatic tone" setting on my Olympus, I caught this bucolic scene, overshadowed by both storm clouds and sun. Considering I was in a relatively fast moving car, the clarity is surprisingly good!
