Boulder Bay bird

We walked the Godley Heads Walkway this morning, from Taylors Mistake to Godley Heads. It has been upgraded and was reopened recently after earthquake repairs. It is an easy track with great ocean views. There are many areas where serious rockfall and erosion can be seen, and the track now follows a different route in some places.

We dropped down into Boulder Bay, where there was plenty of bird life among the boulders. This one had plenty of character. I'll leave it up to the bird experts to name it!
