Through A Gap

Seems like we get alternating rain and sun days. Today was the latter. I could see patches of water lilies beginning to emerge through a gap in the reeds. I liked the feeling of a window into a secret place, a kind of hopefulness.

The reeds make a frame and so there is an image within the image. Also, showing part of something indicates there is more outside the frame of the image. Perhaps it's another type of contrast: this small view inside the image against the wider scene which we know is there. Maybe I can explore that further.
