Links again

I went to the allotment early (having awoken half an hour before the 6 am alarm as usual) and was impressed to see how impeccable the Links were looking after yesterday's Gala Day. Not a speck of litter in sight; just a woman with a border collie that was enjoying himself trying to herd seagulls.

I planted out a couple of stray dwarf french beans and (yet another) courgette plant. The stuff I planted the other day seems to have survived so far.... Fed the blighters, picked a few broad beans, a couple of asparagus spears and the first two strawberries!

Spent the rest of the day doing various chores, even to the extent of putting on new guitar strings. Blimey! Had to clear the decks since online exam marking starts tomorrow (no doubt making my blips even more boring than usual!).
