Mandarin

She was waiting to say hello on the wall as we walked through the gate.  She was a bit self-assured compared to usual so I wonder if her chicks were close by.  We left her to it and strolled along the river.

Three buckets of shredded paper later, fish pie for four and mash for six,  it's been a productive day.
