Went to church this morning and stopped on the way home to check on an elderly neighbour. Once home it was a quick lunch then Kent was off back to that neighbour with another friend, to give her a blessing.

I’ve texted several friends to make sure they are ready for the heat this week. Every day is to be 90-100°F/32-37.5°C with heat indexes of 107-117°F/41.5-47.2°C

The reply to my text from my backyard neighbour was, how do I suggest they prepare. I told her, Gatorade & pedialyte for hydration and then ice pops and water balloons for the girls!

I have Gatorade, pedialyte, ice cream & ice pops.

We did FaceTime with the grandkids and now it’s quiet time.
