Berkeley Castle

LooseCanon was singing at Berkeley castle Gloucestershire today with his Madrigal group, Musyck Anon, in the photo.
It's a spectacular old castle dating back to the twelfth century , built to keep out the Welsh! 
The family have been there ever since and can trace their history all the way back  to 1154.
It was a lovely sunny day and we met Hildasrose and Rob there for a little Blipmeet.
In the afternoon I went to Dr Jenner's house nearby where Edward Jenner  who is credited with the foundation of immunology lived, although for centuries people had been experimenting with transferring infected pus from Smallpox pustules to healthy people to protect them.It  seemed  a bit hit and miss  though.
