Most of the time spent on the allotment is catching up with the neighbours. Today’s chats featured accidents in articulated lorries, emigrating to France and catching up on news of family and friends. 

And we also are the beneficiaries of many gifts. This splendid lettuce is courtesy of Eric & Angela (many thanks). We did manage to lay the base of a greenhouse (another gift). It’s huge …. 15’ x 10’ ….. some repair needed, but it’ll be great!
