Van Gogh Alive

We had a lovely time at the Zoo this afternoon.  The Squirrel and Capuchin Monkeys were particularly active and entertaining, and we saw a Koala moving about and eating (mostly they seem to be asleep).

Later we went to see Van Gogh Alive thanks to Cyclops' brother who gave us a family ticket for Christmas!  The main show was pictures projected on big screens all around us (and the floor) with music and some added movement.  A really interesting and immersive way to experience art!  It was equipped with a couple of "Instagrammable" moments including this one in a a recreation of a painting of Van Gogh's bedroom and a room of sunflowers.  

CyclopsJnr also participated in a "learn to draw" session afterwards and produced some great work, also based on this picture of the artists bedroom.  He concentrated really well for about 15 minutes on it!
