Crowded House

I took Joe to a footie tournament. His first time playing 'properly' for his new team, Mavericks. It was great to see him play even though it was absolutely freezing and I had dressed completely inappropriately in a summer dress (the forecast had said dry and 21 degrees!!). 

The semi final came to a penalty shoot-out.

Joe's penalty was saved, and they lost the match. He was totally gutted, poor kid.

8 of us went to see Crowded House at Scarborough Open Air Theatre tonight. ish and chips first. Bloody brilliant. And a fantastic venue - we'll be back.
