Elephant seals on the California coast. Words cannot describe what it feels like to observe these enormous, beautiful beasts of the ocean. They make funny noises and they sometimes bicker, but mostly, they just lay on the beach and flick sand on themselves to keep cool, and then they slowly make their way back into the Pacific. Breathtaking.
