There wis nae need tae lose the heid!

Came across this pair in the remaining formal garden of Eglinton House, deceased, in Ayrshire, whilst out for a birthday walk with granddaughter 2.
I suppose a photo of Amy @ 1 y.o. would have been more appropriate for 19/4 but as I seem to frighten her I failed to get a good shot of her without a terrified expression. (It's not really as bad as that, honest.)

The inscription says "Ya Maunna Tramp on the Scotch Thistle, LADDIE", with the elder person removing prickles from the younger's bare feet.
