Grumpy young birds

Today was a cloudy day with showers. I got out for a short walk in the morning after some of the showers had stopped. I spotted 2 young red wing blackbirds sitting on a branch looking for the parent to come back to feed them, I did not spot them come and see them once. I am sure they came back at some point.
