Waders and Dippers

River monitoring course in North Pembrokeshire's Afon Nyfer (river Nevern ) through the Riverfly Project.

The course was run in the Salutation Inn, Felindre Farchog, which has a beer garden running down to the river, just below the bridge - a perfect venue for manifold reasons!

We spent the afternoon counting the wildlife such as cased caddis larvae and admiring them in our microscopes. Lots to count so Afon Nyfer looking healthy at this spot....
