Balls of fluff
I had forgotten all about the herring gull sitting on her nest on a bungalow sedum roof which I last photographed on 26th May. After complete failure last year, I was pleased to see she has three chicks. I am not so keen on them when they are full grown but the chicks are acceptable. Not so sure about the one lying down in the middle, may be the runt of the litter. There were lots of herring gulls lined up on the beach as the fisherman were selling fish on the beach.
I am managing to keep the weeds under control and my husband tried out his new extending tree lopper on one of the olive trees which was getting out of hand.
