I have my beady eye on you!
Rabbits tend not to come into my garden although they create havoc in my neighbours' garden and they have had to put up chicken wire around the flowerbeds. But there is one single rabbit that visits every year to eat the lawn grass and the nigella flowers - or at least I have found the heads have been snapped off and eaten by something! Not sure whether this is the same rabbit - perhaps it is one of her offspring as the years have flown by.
The older inhabitants of the Isle of Portland in Dorset never spoke about rabbits but used the word "bunny" ever since the roof of the quarry fell in because of rabbit warrens in the ground above and killed several quarrymen.
