Greylag Goose Sprint ..

.. AKA the Mums and Dads race.

I don't know why the masses decided to run from one side of the path to the other but the geese did it twice while a similar number of goslings just stayed put and continued to graze on their side of the grass.

That group probably amounts to half of the goose population up at the Heritage Park loch. I don't know where the Canada Geese were but as their youngsters can't fly they must have been somewhere in the vicinity.
