Maps and Caps

For this week’s Muddy Monday walk we went for a stroll round the village and the children had to label a map with village landmarks. They were good at spotting the church, bridge, garage and pub where they asked the local landlady if we could come in for a drink! Unfortunately we had to get back to school where they drew and labelled their own maps and drew some of the buildings we’d seen on our walk.
After school I had to make a mad dash to darkest Harlow for a meeting. It wasn’t the most productive 90 minutes ever but it was lovely to see Vicki from Chrishall School who I used to work with and we spent the time having a good catch-up.
