St Thomas Becket Church, Fairfield

Got up early (for a Sunday) and drove to visit our friends in Kent.  Yet another first since before the pandemic - it was so good to see them again, and so easy to pick up where we'd left off :)  They fed us brunch first - delicious waffles and fruit and homemade jam - and then we all (including their two lovely dogs) went for a four mile walk in the pretty local countryside.  Cris is a church warden for both her local church and this equally picturesque one in Fairfield, so we brought the (very large key) on our walk, and we got a private tour of the inside, including a climb up into the teeny tiny bell tower. 

We went back to theirs and chatted away for another couple of hours, then eventually headed home.  Such a lovely Sunday :)
