Tranquility!

A busy morning . We were concerned about my M-I-L who isn’t too well . Unfortunately, she could only have a phone call with a Nurse but she’s been given antibiotics and we can take it from there . It’s really, really worrying that someone of her age and complex medical history can’t get to see a doctor in good time . I was shocked to see on Facebook that my surgery doesn’t have any routine appointments for three weeks as they are short staffed!! 

We had lunch at the whole food  cafe in Wells then a wander and a sit in the Bishops Palace Gardens . There were people painting spaced around with an artist giving them instruction. All very quintessentially English on a Sumner afternoon! 

The swans in the moat were excitable with their cygnets, flapping their wings at ducks who looked very intimidated !
