The chequerboard mesa in Zion

I spent the night in the small town of Hurricane in Utah, after driving a long way from the White Mountains in California. At least, it seems a long way when I'm driving by myself. I stopped heaps of times going through Zion National Park in the early morning, and was still in time for half reasonable light when I reached the parking lot by the Chequerboard Mesa.
