(mishap - understatement :()


(my bike fell over as i was getting ready to take off - my Leica in the pannier, an open type, i live on a houseboat, the bike went upside down between my deck and the dock, the bike was stuck, i got it out with adrenaline surging, the camera was on a log, in a cover - but it got wet.  
am pretty broken, Tom's last gift for me, and of course they are pretty darned expensive to say the least - will not know for several weeks if it will survive)
