Pretty Weed?

These little plants stood out in the garden; I don't think I have seen these before, and I hope I don't see them again; I pulled every one I saw! My yard debris bin is overstuffed now.

Today was my first day driving in two weeks...it was nice to be out and about on this cool cloudy day. I did a little shopping, but I mostly did the necessary tasks. The car needed fuel; I was shocked by the $ 5.50-gallon price.
