Last days are always hard days.
Didn't like having my last class with the seconde who are excellent. Didn't like saying goodbye in the salle des profs for the last time. Didn't like saying goodbye to the prisoners who had all written lovely messages in a book on Haute Loire as a present for me. Didn't like leaving school for the last time.

Luckily we were staying with Delphine for the weekend so after my last class I got straight into the car with her and Laura and headed off to Clermont. Was lovely to have a two hour apero talking to her partner Romain and her two sons Simon and Gaspard, ate dinner late and went to bent late. At least this way there was no time to think about the fact that today really was the end of an era, albeit a short one.

And in other reflections, who knows whether telling the truth is always the right thing to do?
