Mostly black except where it's not...

I put some mealworms and fat balls out this morning... all of a sudden we were starling central! It was like a Hitchcock film. Juveniles came too; beige brown and raucous.

I won't make that mistake again or at least often...

Bruit the sunshine did a tremendous job of bringing out the irridescent colours of the birds' feathers. The mealworms lasted minutes, the fat balls a little longer.
