Came across some old photographs today.
To publicise the opening of our garage in Burnley (selling Gulf petrol - a new brand in the UK) me and a friend thought it would be a good idea to visit all 41 English counties (pre - 1974) in 41 hours.  We accomplished the task driving this 1965 MiniCooper 1071 'S'.  This was before the age of the motorway - such memories.
