Wild Garden

This is my side ‘wild’ garden. When I moved in was mainly gravel with high trellis all round, but I got the trellis removed, I shifted the gravel, dug out a small pond and planted a few shrubs and sowed wild flowers. It looks lovely in Spring and a lot of Summer when I’m in the garden and attracts quite a lot of birds, bees and a few dragonflies and damselflies. In Autumn / Winter it looks a bit barren, but as I can’t see it from the house, that’s just fine. It’s quite small, but I’ve been pleased at what I can do for wildlife in a small area.
