GatewayTeepee

This is the 3rd year we've put the teepee up. I have tried morning glories with some success and sweet peas with lousy success. The goal is to have some plant that will climb and cross over and create a plant awning to walk under. This year I'm trying decorative gourds. Basically squash like plants that can be viney. I'm hoping for lots of flowers and eventually hanging gourds. These are small warted ones and some that are called Tennessee dancing gourds. Hopefully some more pictures to come eventually of success!! I have to do some fixing up of the twine for them to climb.
