First Catch of the Day

…and the first catch of his life for Z! A bit of help putting on the bait from Pappy and after Z hauled it in then he released it. Zeke is a very committed vegetarian so he didn’t want to eat the flounder ( it was too small anyhow). He just wanted to try fishing again and see if he could get a catch. He caught three in total. We were at kayak point county park that has an excellent fishing and crabbing pier.
Tomorrow will be a big low tide so we’re off to do some tide pool exploration!
