Golfing Blip

Looking around the office around for a blip - pretty much been chained to the desk all day. Eyes alighted on this Jack Nicklaus RBS £5 note - given to me by my mother in law in the mid noughties with a view to it becoming a collectors item. Judging by the prices on ebay there are a lot of them floating about so I'm not likely to be cashing in my chips anytime soon. Quite an interesting conversation piece nonetheless.

Other talking points with regard to this bank note are:

1. Issued by a private sector bank not majority owned by you and I.
2. Signed by a certain F. Goodwin - what ever happened to him.

I'll put money on many other blippers having one of these in their desk draw.
