Crossing
Started grey and cool but by later in the day it got quite muggy despite staying grey and I wasn’t dressed right….hate it when that happens
A spent another day at home in bed, still testing negative but feeling wiped out and her nose is running like a tap.
Morning at work in a couple of meetings and also finishing the list of names for LT and prepping for the meeting tomorrow morning, then over to lunch with CW at the gallery cafe. Had a good planning chat and agreed on a lot….certainly heaps to do.
Back to the office for more prep (and had an email out of the blue suggesting another interesting opportunity) then down to town (again!) to the EIF AGM. Lovely to see some familiar faces and meet the new Director, but by then getting uncomfortably warm so I was pleased to get home and change. The high street was humming….city’s pretty busy at the moment and it won’t be long before the street is jam packed with people and performers….just a bubble maker today but it felt like it’s in the air!
Made some Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall aubergine and green bean curry, substituting asparagus for green beans. It was as usual a good flavour (although A couldn’t really taste it), then I had too lazy an evening.
