Celebrating Our Mothers.

Today is the fifth anniversary of the death of Pat’s mother, Mary.

Mary had a very kind death. She was aware of her impending demise and insisted on planning her own wake which was to be very much a celebration.

She insisted on champagne being served. Her last drink was champagne.

Mary was 97.

Today we lit Mary’s candle and drank our best champagne.
