First swim of the year

We were up and out by 9.30 this morning to have a swim. It was really lovely. Pretty chilly but so wonderful. The beach was quite empty, just a few little people in their wet suits jumping in and out of the cold water, squealing when their daddy splashed them. A lovely start to the day.
