A quick stop here on our return to Mapua - this time for an excision biopsy, prioritised so no waiting for an appointment later in the month.


This sculpture is at the gateway of the coastal road between Ruby Bay and Mapua. It represents the birds found frequenting the Moutere Estuary - please note the blue skies after so many wet days and fluffy clouds reflected in the mirror-like incoming tide.


Thank you very much for your response to yesterday’s blip showing a small view of the Waimea Inlet - and a glimpse of fresh snow on mountains behind Richmond.
