Painting

The weather is great, hot and dry, lashings of sun and barely a cloud in the sky.
Mrs S and I took ourselves off into the back garden again, Mrs S preparing and then painting the cupboard, me in the shed searching for the antique look drawer/door handles we purchased a while ago and put up safe!

Although it seemed too hot for one the roast dinner was gently cooking whilst we enjoyed each other’s company in the garden.

Inevitably the handles couldn’t be found so a quick run to B&Q to select some new ones. Home and of course when it came to fit them the supplied screws were not long enough, back to B&Q tomorrow.

Todays photo is from Friday and is the Merchant Seaman ‘Lookout’ sculpture which stands in the Seamen's Mission Memorial Garden.
