Major surgery.

The very tall trees on the left were weakened by the winter storms and had become dangerous to property and overhead wires.
Today the biggest crane I have ever seen in the village arrived together with a crew of tree surgeons and several trucks. The road was closed for the day.
As you can see they have to be taken down piece by piece. Its a very big task.
As I took this shot from our front driveway we have a very good view of what is going on.
