It happens.

Today became a busy day and prevented me from going to where I had planned, so here is today's photo showing you how the weather can change from one day to the next.  This photo is taken from a lay-by on Whinlatter Pass (Keswick side) where an ice cream van is parked-too early for me- and shows Bassenthwaite Lake, the slopes of Skiddaw on the far side and Whinlatter forest on the left.  A beautiful place in all weathers, yes even in the rain if properly clothed.  When I returned to Cumbria years ago the hillsides were covered in trees.  They have since been cut down and  replanting has taken place.  From pram pushing to disability scooter, there aren't many paths that we haven't been on.
