Kennall Vale nature reserve

When down county to look at a van. Decided to visit an old haunt to walk the dogs
Kennall Vale, now a lovely nature reserve, was a gunpowder mill from 1812 to 1914 presumably largely supplying the local mining industry. Eventually gunpowder was replaced by gelignite and dynamite and the mills shut.
