Sunshine.

My chosen post for today shows what happens with Lake District weather.  It is completely different from yesterday's post, but taken roughly the same time, a day apart. This post shows Bassenthwaite Lake, Skiddaw to the right and Whinlatter Forest to the left.  The forest has changed since I returned to Cumbria long ago now, many trees have been harvested and replanting has taken place.  For those interested in ice cream this photo was taken from a lay-by on Whinlatter Pass where an ice cream van is parked!  It was too early for me, really.
