Soldier Fly

A full on day here and getting back home thought I should think about a blip ....well I did however nothing came to mind in the time frame I had. 

Trotted round the garden - well the dogs did anyway; I just faffed with a lens. Not a great deal around really at the moment. 

This soldier fly was catching the light so I snapped him. Coloured like a military uniform, very metallic which is why they got their name.
